Live Like Water.Country Tea Stop & Shop
Weekend Tea Retreat
Take time to treat yourself to tea, time and conversation with your friends in the beautiful Eastern Townships. We will host you either in our little Tea Room or our authentic Mongolian Yurt. Here you will be able to unwind and learn the traditional Korean way of preparing and serving tea for yourself and your friends. This is an informal introduction to tea and the art of preparing it using Traditional Korean Pottery. Tea and Talk is held for small groups at my country cottage located in East Bolton, Quebec. The fee is $20.00 per person and you get three different types of introduction teas that I offer: a Mild Green, Jasmine Green tea and an Oolong tea. Every one of these teas is absolutely delicious, especially, when steeped in our Artesian well water. After drinking your tea you enjoy our back yard. In the summer you can take time to walk barefoot through the grass (natural reflexology), or in winter put on your snowshoes and walk through the woods breathing in deeply. And for those who like climbing and a higher perspective, we invite you up to our lookout, up on top Tea Turtle Mountain so you can watch the world go bye bye. If you would like to sleep over in our Mongolian Yurt the cost is $25 per person and the Yurt can accommodate 4 people. We can also host small events and camping is also possible. We are situated near exit 106 off Highway 10. Contact me for more details or to book a tea sitting. Michael Cichon:Email:

Vipassana Meditation As Taught By S.N. Goenka, in the tradition of Sayagyi U Ba Khin
Along the journey I have had the privilege to have been introduced to Vipassana Meditation by a dear friend, Richard Honsberger. If it were not for his insight, I might still be blind. When I was ready, I made the time to do a ten day meditation retreat. It was a great opportunity to sit and face myself; and once I had completed the ten day retreat, I came out beaming, full of energy, and healthy; due to the generosity and loving hands of the volunteers who prepared the delicious vegetarian meals to sustain us all while we did the real work we were meant to do. I have done several sits since, and for those who are interested in experiencing meditation in a secure environment, and do not know where to start I suggest Vipassana Meditation. Here is some information from their site. Do visit them at http://www.dhamma.org/
For those of you out in my neck of the woods there is a centre in Sutton, Quebec.

Vipassana Meditation As Taught By S.N. Goenka
in the tradition of Sayagyi U Ba Khin
This is the international home page of the organizations which offer courses in Vipassana Meditation as taught by S.N. Goenka and his assistant teachers in the tradition of Sayagyi U Ba Khin
Vipassana, which means to see things as they really are, is one of India’s most ancient techniques of meditation. It was taught in India more than 2500 years ago as a universal remedy for universal ills, i.e., an Art of Living. For those who are not familiar with Vipassana Meditation, an Introduction to Vipassana by Mr. Goenka and Questions & Answers about Vipassana are available.
The technique of Vipassana Meditation is taught at ten-day residential courses during which participants learn the basics of the method, and practice sufficiently to experience its beneficial results.
There are no charges for the courses - not even to cover the cost of food and accommodation. All expenses are met by donations from people who, having completed a course and experienced the benefits of Vipassana, wish to give others the opportunity to also benefit.
Courses are given in numerous Meditation Centers and at non-center course locations at rented sites. Each location has its own schedule of courses. In most cases, an application for admission to each of these courses can be made online.
PRH (Personal and Human Relationships) A School on How to be
A School on How to be: as founded by Andre Rochais. When you’re ready to do some serious personal healing I suggest you look into PRH. Many years ago I took the Who Am I Session with Sister Jeanine, and I can still feel its effects to this day. Once we look deep inside ourselves with honesty, we get to know and love that being that lives within. The course that I took and the counseling that I’ve done did help me to understand the emotional and mental blocks that resulted in physical patterns. Because the approach was through a series of written answers to focused questions (GPA’s) they allowed me to see clearly what was emerging. By understanding, accepting and letting go, I have been able to shed what needed to be changed and begin to live more fully from the depth of my being.
Sister Jeanine is dedicated to the work she does; she’s a fantastic listener and compassionate with those who are hurting and need healing. Personal growth and healing is like a seed and once planted, the more we nurture it with absolute honesty the quicker it will take root and blossom. Before we really engage in the world I believe we must first clear some emotional ground and heal. PRH has been a helpful tool in this respect and what’s more is this process was made accessible.
